RESHAPE: Portuguese Jewellery x MAAT

Crédits: AORP

It is with great pleasure today that I share the news that, for the second consecutive year, AORP (Jewellery and Watch Association of Portugal) has renewed its partnership with MAAT (Museum of Art, Architecture and Technology) in order to promote the sale and exhibition of 6 Portuguese jewellery brands, among which is my label Ana Bragança Jewellery.

RESHAPE is the name of this partnership that comes in a moment when it is urgent to prioritise the promotion of new policies associated with sustainability. Thus, MAAT and AORP have invited the selected brands to create new, disruptive collections, and have encouraged them to incorporate and reused recycled materials. The aim is, through jewellery, to remember and promote the fight against waste and reinventing the present.

As mentioned, besides Ana Bragança Jewellery, six other Portuguese jewelery brands will be present at the MAAT: Clélia Jewelery, Leão Creative, Lia Gonçalves, Mariana Machado Jewelery and Wonther.

The pieces will be on display both at MAAT and at the Electricity Museum, in Lisbon. The initiative started on May 27, 2020, with the exhibition of Lia Gonçalves' jewellery pieces. The presence of the different designers will take place for two months and with rotation over the course of a year. Ana Bragança will be in display during the months of August, September and October, so we are counting on your presence!
